HEYN Engineering
A platform that takes statutory inspection out of the office and into the field — pairing a calm operations dashboard for the back office with a mobile reporting app built for engineers on site, in basements and up tower cranes, with or without signal.

HEYN carry out statutory examinations on tens of thousands of lifting and engineering assets across Northern Ireland. The back office needs a live view of fleet health and what's due; the engineer in the field needs to record what they find — quickly, accurately and without depending on a signal that often isn't there. We built both halves as one system, so a report filed on a phone in a lift shaft shows up on the dashboard the moment it can.

Reporting that
keeps up with
the engineer
The examination app turns a dense paper checklist into a guided flow an engineer can complete one-handed, on site, in minutes — and it never stops just because the connection does.
Reporting, simplified
A four-step flow — Installation, Defects, Repairs, Complete — replaces multi-page paper forms. Plain-language questions, big tap targets and clear Yes/No answers mean a full examination is logged correctly the first time.
Works fully offline
Basements, plant rooms, lift shafts, remote sites — coverage is unreliable where the work happens. Every answer, defect note and reading is captured straight to the device, so the engineer never hits a wall and never loses an entry.
Syncs whenever it can
The moment a connection returns, completed reports upload themselves to the HEYN platform in the background. No manual re-keying back at the depot, no paperwork backlog — the dashboard simply stays current.
